The Carter 4

The Carter 4 is Lil Wayne's 9th Officially launched Record. Recording all started 08', briefly after finishing of The Carter 3. In the beginning there were issues but he went through with the album, although he did state that he didn't like making his music back to back. Before The Carter 4 was released, Lil Wayne released a couple of other solo albums, I Am Not a Human Being and the album labeled Rebirth. The latter was reportedly created originally from the initial ideas from this album. Which had some of the best Lil Wayne quotes ever. 


The Carter 4 Sold roughly 964,000 albums in the U.S. of  Tha Carter 4 quickly topped the Billboard 200 charts in only about a weeks time. The album received varied critiques from music authorities and fans alike, who were actually divided in their results towards the creation and performances on the album. Lil Wayne's album turned out to be a great album but in most people and critics eyes it was not up to par with his past efforts and albums.

In late 2011 Lil Wayne himself made a statement saying this may be the last album that he will make. This is not to say he will not work with other artists or produce or co-produce other Young Money efforts. Fans think differently about the ratings of his latest album and think this is one of his most diverse and greatest albums released to date.


Out of all Lil Wayne albums is most successful album to date was and still is The Carter 3, which was released in 08'. Reaching over 1 million sales in it's first week. With the featured songs A Mili, Lollipop and Get Money. It also won the best rap award at the Grammy's for the year of 2008.


Lil Wayne's real name is Dwayne Michael Carter and he is a Jr. He's better know as Lil Wayne which is his stage name and he was born on September 27th 1982. He's reported to have four beautiful kids Reginae, Dwayne, Lennox and Neal.

Lil Wayne's one of the hardest working recording artist in the music industry and after the 8 months prison sentencing he spent in the New York for the criminal possession of a weapon. And all that he's been through, fans do nothing but show full, unrelentless support for his music, along with critics and reviewers. His albums reflect his artistic abilities to be able to feed multiple genre's. From hip hop, to an almost r and b approach with his song "How to Love" to his rock and roll side "Rebirth" which had bad reception from the critics and fans alike.


Shortly after the album's release the rapper started a clothing company called TRUKFIT apparel. At this moment there are more than 40 items added to his clothing line. He's slowly but surely getting into the business side of this economical world, which is a good thing because kids and adults alike look up to him. So his clothing is just another extension and expression of his and the view at Young Money Entertainment.


Whether it's his creatively put together music like the one from the carter 4 tracklist which by the way he just freestyles, or his delicate attention to detail as he spits every syllable to perfection, Lil Wayne is looking to be one of the greatest if not the greatest rapper that has ever lived.
